Just a query about whether it's possible to be sending the h264 video from the mipi-327 camera unedited, so that it can be displayed in a video element on a web page.
The way we are currently doing this, is using a library on the client side called jmuxer, which, through a websocket directly is able to display arducam cameras. Is there something similar with the mipi-327 camera as seen in libcamera-examples?

Sorry, we now only have a similar demo available in legacy mode via gstreamer.

@thn The possible reason is that there are other signals on the i2c bus, causing the camera to misjudge.
Is there any other device mounted on your i2c bus?

@radiohound As far as I know, sony's datasheet is only open to corporate customers who have signed an NDA.

I'd be interested if you find anything out about this. Arducam has their own imx462 camera, but I notice it has a lot less ic chips on the back of it. So not sure their driver is going to help, or if they even have the ability to take a long exposure.

Hi again! Well yeah, i made some research yesterday, after my question, and it become obvious, that it is not possible to direct connect not MV-MIPI-IMX178M nor existing adapter board to Khadas Edge2. Pin outs are not nearly the same.

So i decided to make my own adapter board - it's quite easy. But i have some questions to avoid mistakes.

So if i will properly connect all DATA lines, CLK and I2C to Edge2 and route all other signals to dedicated 2,54 header will it be enough to make it work? Power supply will be external and enable signal i want to give by simple switch. Can you give me minor instructions or, maybe, link that explains how to port your driver to another platform? Cause i never did that...

PS: Did you ever work with CCD matrices? For some scientific cases they are preferable.
